Shipping

Standard shipping via common carrier is included in the cost to most areas of the continental United States (high cost areas like FL, RI, ME, VT, DE, MD, MI, MA, NJ, NH, CT, NY and similar may require an additional fee; we will notify you if this is the case). Delivery includes curbside delivery (only at the end of your driveway, not your garage). It does not include any assembly, set up, or removal of packaging. The carrier will call to set a delivery time window. A signature is required. Estimated deliveries typically take about 6-14 business days but may be quicker or slower depending on your location. Some high cost service areas (islands, remote, inaccessible for semi freight truck, region with limited service, etc) may require additional shipping fees. Please contact us before ordering if you think this is the case and we check your address out. Most orders we’ve received don’t have this problem.

It is your responsibility to inspect the unit prior to the delivery agent’s departure from your home. The item may be refused or you may note damage on the delivery receipt to file a damage claim. If no damage is indicated then we must assume it arrived in an undamaged condition. Returns may not be authorized if damaged is not noted on the delivery receipt. The driver may try to rush you but you can request a few minutes to open and inspect everything.

Delivery Procedure

  • The unit will arrive in your local shipping terminal
  • The local terminal will contact you (via phone is always their first point of contact) and set an appointment.
  • Deliveries are typically set as an appointment during a 4-hour block of time. Delivery times are normally between 8AM and 5PM, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). You may call the terminal ahead and submit a written preauthorization for delivery if you can’t be present. However this can be risky if the freight is damaged. It is always better to be present for delivery and inspect for any damages.
  • You will sign the delivery receipt. Note any damages or if you refused due to damage.
  • Your driveway must accessible to a larger truck or semi. If it is too narrow or may cause damage to the truck then the delivery may not be able to be completed. Please contact us at info@silverwingtrailers.com if your driveway is inaccessible for a large truck. We can arrange the delivery to an alternate address or you may pick up from the local terminal if required.

Returns: The customer (you) are responsible for return freight costs. Returns must be preauthorized and submitted within 3 business days from the delivery date as noted by the delivery company. Any other return submission after 3 business days will not be honored. Please allow up to 3 weeks for return processing after Silverwing receives the returned item. Awesome trailer. Already hauled a bunch of stuff with it!

  2. footfille

I assembled the trailer in 90 minutes earlier this week with one assistant. The assembly was straightforward and simple. There were a couple of bolt holes that had to be slightly widened with a drill to allow the bolts to fit perfectly, but other than that the project was simple. The trailer pulls very nicely and has excellent tires. I love the wide ramp on the back. I loaded my four wheeler on and it was very simple. In fact, this trailer is light enough I could pull it with my four wheeler just fine also. The tires and wheel rims are excellent quality. This trailer looks like it will last for many years. It is well built. It can’t rust because it is made of aluminum. It has high quality wheels and tires. I am very pleased with the trailer.

  3. Towhead

    Well-crafted trailer.
Good stuff: Trailer is substantial for it’s 420-lbs, and the welds (over 200 of them) appear well-executed. The component parts (jack, safety chain, coupler, lights, cabling, nuts and bolts) are all of good quality. Assembly is straightforward and well thought out. Took this fat old man about three hours, single-handed.

I did encounter some minor hassles in assembly. The fender bolts did not really line up with the pre-drilled holes, but after an hour of pushing, shoving and swapping sides, I finally got things to line up sufficiently. Barely. Once done, it’s a solidly mounted fender. The hardware packet only included 4 @ 5/16″ washers for the fender install, where the instructions (and logic) seem to call for eight of them. It was also missing one 7/16″ nylock nut. So I had to go buy $1.25 worth of hardware to finish the job. I consider that par for the course on a job / product this complex.

HIGH Quality Trailer at a great deal
Just put this trailer together yesterday, and I am impressed at the quality of the build. One of the appeals for me to getting an all-aluminum trailer was the fact that I would not have to worry about the decking or rust. I did have a worry that this would be one of those “cheapo” trailers that was poorly constructed, but nothing could be further from the truth. The welds appear to be well fabricated, and the design is simple and intuitive. It all came in a single box and only required about 1.5 hours to put together (with my brother helping me with the lifting). Assembly was MUCH easier with 2 people, but definitely possible with just 1 if needed. Note–I did end up needing to drill out some of the holes again to help the bolts fit through the trailer, but this was very simple and only required a drill and bit. Aluminum was easy to drill through. Overall, a very solid trailer. Light and sturdy. Held my 4-wheeler very well.

    Great product!
Very well done. Easy to set up like Lego, but you need tools. I love it.

  6. ScottyJames

    Amazing!
So refreshing to have finally found an extremely light trailer with an aluminum deck (rather than heavy wood decking that I’m used to, that needed to be painted and replaced regularly). Other great features are large wheels that provide a secure feeling, flush mounted LED tail lights, and removable perimeter rails that provide endless tie-down opportunities and added safety. And the rear “gate” / ramp is strong, light, and a breeze to lift or lower. I travel over some dirt trails, so I enjoy having the serious ground clearance this trailer provides. My uses are varied. I transport a dirt bike, a quad (ATV), and a large street bike. In addition, it makes transporting my unwieldy 18 foot kayak a breeze. I also enjoy taking it to remote picnic/camping spots so I have a clean deck to put an inflatable couch, table, and stove onto. I’m going to order a roll of artificial grass to top the trailer deck with so I’ll have a mini grass yard whenever and wherever I want. I had to contact Silverwing customer service about an issue that I caused by not correctly using conductive grease in the electrical connections (it’s probably best not to use it at all). The email responses were extremely quick, friendly, and the solution was simple. Silverwing customer service is extremely dedicated to maximizing customer satisfaction, and getting us rolling safely and as quickly as possible. The only negatives are that the safety chains seem heavier than necessary, so I replaced them with lighter ones that are still adequate and legal, but easier to handle. Also, one of the rear “gate” / ramp supports had a little bit of weld that was too thick to allow the gate to lock in the “angle” position. So I had to grind it a bit, which was an easy fix. And I informed Silverwing about it, and they assured me that they will take steps to correct the issue. Be very careful if you attempt to assemble this trailer alone. It can be dangerous not having two people (do as I say, and NOT as I did!). I’m extremely happy with this purchase, and recommend it and the Silverwing company very highly.

    Best Utility Trailer
Great trailer!! If you are in market looking for a utility trailer, you can not go wrong with Silverwing product. I Took my time to put it together, I torque every bolt to its proper recommended torque, used blue lock tight (rally not needed) , one person start to finish took me little less than 3 hours. I would buy it again !!! only regret I wish I would have bought one size bigger.

  8. Dr Wes

    Great littler trailer.
Everything went together as planned . All the bolts fit perfectly. This will be my go to trailer, light, well built great for all kinds of jobs. Already told a friend he needed to get one.

  9. Sluggo

    Better then expected
Order several weeks ago, arrived when promised. Packaging was excellent, easy to unpacked and check parts. Nothing missing. Assembly was easy, no problems with drilled holes for bolts, all parts fit as promised. No missing parts. All components were of high quality. The design of this trailer is excellent and I expect to get many years of good service from it.

    Silverwing forever!
I have been extremely happy with my Silverwing 5X9 trailer! It had broken a weld on the tab that bolts the two halves together. Contacted Silverwing and they coordinated the repair within days. Silverwing customer service earns 5 stars from me. The trailer is strong, light, and trails behind my Range Rover straight and true. Hooray!

    Nice Trailer
Very nice trailer. It takes a little time to assemble, but definitely a nice product.

  12. Matt12

    Very Satisfied
Well built, easy assembly, looks great, and tows like a dream.

  13. William

    Looks great and functional
    Lightweight with a good payload.

  14. MTroms11

Great Trailer – I’m Very Happy
I waited a couple of months before I did this review and I am happy to say that the trailer has met my expectations. But I was a little disappointed in a couple things, first of all when the trailer was delivered it was missing a part and one of the parts got crushed by the trailer in transit. We contacted SilverWing and they were very helpful and did send out the part right away. Putting the trailer together wasn’t to bad with two people. We got it all put together in around 2 hours. It is so lite and easy to move around. It’s a great size, but another downfall of the trailer is the sides that come with it. In order to fill up the trailer you need to make new walls for the it. I was able to do that with some pressure treated wood and now the trailer is PERFECT. Overall I would say it is a great trailer that with walls becomes a perfect trailer. Would highly recommend it to my friends.

  15. ronb

    Nice trailer
I thought it might come more assembled than it did, however it took some work putting everything together, it looks like a quality trailer. However, you need to be mechanical, bolts-nuts, axel, wheels, trailer tongue, hitch and sides… it takes some time and effort with some help.

  16. 605k9

Excellent trailer for a great price point
I purchased it a couple weeks ago. Took me about 5 hours to assemble it. You need a 2nd person to help lift and move it. Assembly went smoothly with no issues at all.

  17. readyrandy3

    Durable and Heavy Duty!
Took some time to assemble but the results were fantastic. This trailer is built to last and I will be passing this down to my kids

  18. customer

I am very pleased to write an extremely positive review for this item. This is the very first item I’ve ever bought and not been disappointed in the welding, I have been a welder since high school and when I received this trailer I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of welds. The assembly instructions were very clear, took about two hours to assemble and the overall quality of all components, materials, and factory workmanship makes this the very best buy on the market for a small utility trailer!

  19. Guy (verified owner)

    Great trailer, great service.
The manual is way above average compared to other manuals, just one slight confusion, which was quickly resolved by a quick answer to an e-mail. Put this together myself with a jack and stands, ca. 2h. If you have help, it will be faster.
This trailer has real tires, not the toy tires on comparable trailer of the same size.
Wiring is already installed and easy to connect.

The trailer would be more than perfect if there would be an easy way to fold the trailer for storage, It is shipped folded, so the setup us available, but you have to remove 7 screws from underneath before folding. Alternatively one could save 2ft of storage if for storage you could slip the tongue all the way in up to the swivel jack, but the end of the receiver is blocked and even then the wiring is in the way of slipping it in further.

  20. Rick McCoy

Just put mine together, I do recommend having a 2nd person and taking the better part of a day though. The instructions could use a review though. There are 2 aluminum plates enclosed that we figured out are meant to be used to be used as additional braces between the two bed halves, but no where are they mentioned in the instructions and they don’t show on the parts list.

Second they should put the paper work in a plastic bag, all of our paper work was totally wet and worthless. We downloaded new instructions, but a ziplock bag would have solved that problem. Missing one nylock nut was the only other issue and the trailer looks great!

  21. John Watson

I know I shouldn’t have, but I’m hardheaded….assembled it by myself in an afternoon. Instructions were easy to follow and the design features that make assembly simple are impressive. All aluminum makes it light and I expect it will continue to look good after years of weathering. The lightweight will make it good for the 1100 mile hauls that we’ll be making frequently over the next few months as we move from Illinois to North Carolina.

  22. DM

What is the shipping carton dimensions? I’m thinking of having it shipped to a freight forwarding in California for final shipping to Hawaii.

    thanks.

I am a professional Artist who needs to transport large paintings to my galleries. This trailer fits my needs completely. It is well built, light weight and affordable! The engineering is outstanding as is the build itself. I highly recommend this trailer and it will probably be the last one you will ever need!

  24. Thao Luc (verified owner)

WOW, this thing is built like a tank. Very high quality wields and stable when towed. I had an option to purchase from a well known big box vendor but chose to buy it directly and had an awesome delivery experience. They are also very responsive to my email inquires. Money well spent.

  25. Evan J

    Hello Silverwing
I would really like to thank you for the great trailer and your incredible customer service!!!

I also was impressed with the invoice request coming so fast and on your day off.
What can I say other than, thank you and keep up the good work. I will enjoy my trailer for years to come!!!
