All warranty requests MUST be done in writing and sent to info@silverwingtrailers.com. Phone calls are insufficient to submit a warranty claim.

THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN THIS WARRANTY SUPERSEDE ALL PRIOR ORAL OR WRITTEN QUOTATIONS, PROPOSALS AND COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN THE BUYER AND SELLER RELATED TO THE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES IDENTIFIED HEREIN.

Limited warranty registration for a trailer is required within 14 days of date of purchase or delivery date to qualify. Please see your Manufacturer Statement of Origin (MSO) for the warranty registration information and mailing directions. Failure to register your warranty will nullify and void any claim to the Silverwing Trailers warranty. Please see the Owner’s Manual for more warranty information. Keep a copy of the warranty registration and receipt of purchase for proof of any future warranty claim. 

In the event that the trailer is defective in workmanship and material under the trailer warranty specification with normal use, the unit may be returned to Silverwing Trailers location in Grace, ID (purchaser is responsible for any freight or related costs to and from the facility in Grace, ID) and the trailer will be inspected. If the Silverwing trailer is found to be defective, the trailer will be repaired at no charge to the purchaser. All replaced parts become the property of Silverwing Trailers. Any repairs completed without prior authorization from Silverwing Trailers will not be honored nor paid. With written approval by Silverwing Trailers only, repairs may be done at another location using costs or repair and labor determined only by Silverwing Trailers. Any unit repaired or replaced under a warranty claim is only covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Silverwing Trailers will inspect any claim prior to repair to determine the defect. Misuse, adjustments, alterations, abuse, overloading, improper loading, damages resulting from failure to check and torque lug nuts correctly, acts of God, natural disaster, accident caused to the trailer, and similar is not included in the warranty. Normal wear items (such as tires, wheels, brakes, hinges, bearings, seals, etc.) are not covered under the warranty and do not qualify for any warranty coverage.

Silverwing Trailers will not be responsible for accidents, incidental, indirect, special, or liable damages to persons or property which may result from a defect in workmanship or material. Silverwing Trailers is not responsible or liable for damages including (but are not limited to) loss of income, loss of time, inconvenience, injury, death, and any other costs or fees associated with any warranty issue or claim.

The purchaser will be responsible for any freight or shipping costs incurred to transport the unit as directed by Silverwing Trailers to its authorized dealer or the Silverwing Trailers factory location. 

Any repairs or claims must be pre-approved and authorized in writing from Silverwing Trailers. All claim requests must have the claimed unit’s identification number included on all correspondence. The warranty shall be null and void in the event the trailer has been subject to any modifications, alternations, misuse, neglect, accident, overloading, or repairs have been performed without written authorization.

Commercial usage or applications will receive warranty coverage for 6 months from date of purchase when registered. Failure to register your commercial warranty will nullify and void any claim to the Silverwing Trailers warranty. Commercial usage must be indicated when registering for the warranty or any claim will be nullified and voided. Commercial usage may include (but is not limited to) any application in a business or commercial use. Any commercial usage with no warranty registration will nullify any claim to a warranty service.

This limited warranty applies only to customers who purchased a new product directly from Silverwing Trailers or an authorized dealer and does not cover second-hand purchases and is not transferable. Coverage is only available in the lower 48 continental states in the United States. 

A complete claim must include the following: name, mailing address, email, model, VIN, date of purchase, purchase receipt, copy of warranty registration, and a description of the issue (more details/pictures may be requested as needed). Claims with insufficient information will be denied.  

Tent Limited Warranty
